Guests who only upload photos do not need to create an account and we do not collect their personal information beyond the photos they upload.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
When you create an album, we create a folder in your Google Drive and upload all guest photos directly to it. You remain the owner of that Drive folder and all files within it. We store a reference to your folder in our database (Firestore) along with your album settings.
You can revoke our access to your Google Drive at any time via your Google Account settings. Revoking access will prevent future uploads but will not delete the photos already in your Drive.
Keepsake (free) album records are retained for 7 days. Forever plan album records are retained for one year. After these periods, album metadata is deleted from our database. Photos remain in your Google Drive indefinitely unless you delete them.
We use session storage (not cookies) to keep you signed in during your current browser session. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Google Firebase and Google Fonts may set their own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

Snap Scan Share is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Who the service is for: Snap Scan Share is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. To create an album you must sign in with a Google account. Google's own terms of service require users to be at least 13 years old to hold an account, and we require album hosts to be at least 18. By signing in and creating an album you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Guest upload responsibility: Anyone with an album link can upload photos and videos without creating an account. As the album host, you are solely responsible for who you share your link with. You must ensure that any photos or videos featuring minors have been taken and shared with the full knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
What to do if a child's data is found: If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under the age of 13 has submitted personal information through our Service, please contact us immediately at hello@snapscanshare.com. We will investigate and permanently delete any such information promptly upon verification.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Snap Scan Share after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
